Arclind is committed to protecting your privacy. To browse or use Arclind products, you do not need to provide personal information unless you choose to create an account or contact us directly.
What we collect #
When you browse our websites and products, our servers automatically log standard technical information: your IP address, browser type, pages visited, time of access, and referring URL. These logs are used solely for diagnosing technical issues and defending against spam and abuse. They are retained for a few weeks and then deleted.
If you create an account on an Arclind product, we collect your email address and the username you choose. We use your email to authenticate your account and communicate service-related information. We do not use it for marketing without your consent.
Cookies #
We use cookies to maintain your session when you are logged in to an Arclind product. No personally identifiable information is stored in these cookies beyond your session ID and security tokens.
We use Cloudflare as our CDN and security layer. Cloudflare sets cookies such as cf_clearance and __cf_bm on your browser for bot detection and security purposes. These are functional cookies and do not track you for advertising. You can learn more at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga and _gid) to distinguish visitors and track sessions. On products that display Google Ads, additional cookies may be set by Google to measure ad performance and serve relevant ads. You can review and manage Google's cookie use at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
How we use your data #
We use the information we collect to operate and improve our products, respond to support requests, and protect the integrity of our platforms. We do not build advertising profiles, run behavioural tracking, or sell data to anyone.
Contributing #
Some Arclind products allow you to create or contribute content with an account. Content you submit publicly may be visible to other users of that product. Creating an account requires an email address and a username. Specific content licensing terms, where applicable, are outlined within each product.
Analytics #
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our websites. Google Analytics collects data such as pages visited, time spent, and general location derived from your IP address. This data is aggregated and anonymised -- we cannot identify you individually from it. Google may use this data in accordance with their own privacy policy.
Advertising #
Some Arclind products display advertisements served by Google Ads. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our products or other websites.
If you would rather browse without being tracked by analytics or ad networks, we encourage you to use a privacy-focused browser extension. Privacy Badger and uBlock Origin are both free, well-maintained, and effective.
Third parties #
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except where we are legally required to do so by a government authority. We use Cloudflare for content delivery and security, and Google for analytics and advertising on some products. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Data security #
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@arclind.com.
Your rights #
Under applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate data, and request deletion of your data where we have no legal obligation to retain it. To exercise any of these rights, write to us at hello@arclind.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Children #
Our products are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy #
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our products after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
